The San Luis Potosí’s Triathlon route was located inside the Tangamanga Park and about 1,500 triathletes where enthusiastically competing in different categories ranging from Iron Kind to Sprint, Olympic and even Elite.

Swimming was carried out at the park’s lake, which was in optimal conditions for swimming after going through several renovations and cleaning cycles to guarantee the water’s cleanliness.

Cycling and Race routes were drawn throughout the facilities of Tangamanga Park, which offered a spectacular tour of the park’s natural beauties and its surroundings. Being the second largest park in the whole of Latin America, a high-level triathlon was easily guaranteed.

Transitions were made around the Planetarium, located at the heart of the park and offering ample areas right in the middle of the competition.

Alongside the different Triathlon teams in town, the San Luis Potosí Triathlon has positioned our city as one of the leading Triathlon communities in the country with several high-level training camps in and around the city. Be sure that if you’re interested in training for and competing in a Triathlon you will find all the necessary equipment and coaching in both public and private facilities.
